The Thermo Control PRO II is a modified Thermo Control II.
It is a digital thermostat with a controlled temperature range of 0-50C. It is a straight on / off switching thermostat, the same as the habistat temperature, twin & mat thermostats. They are recommended for use with all Heatmats, Heat cables and ceramic heat bulbs. They are not suitable for Light bulbs as they will shorten their lift by a considerable amount. It has a permanent digital temperature readout so you can check at a glance the cage temperature. Heaters of up to 1000W total can be connected through a standard 3 pin plug socket. The external sensor can be used in water or air so is suitable for humid environments. In addition the Thermo Control PRO II has an alarm function which warns optically and acoustically if the measured temperature is too high or too low, this level is set by the user. In addition to the standard features shown above the Thermocontrol Pro II has the following additional features. It has a realtime clock and two temperature circuits which make it possible to set different temperatures for day and night. The switching between Day/Night mode is realized through the clock. Contrary to the Thermo Control II the smallest time unit of the timer is minutes and the two possible ON/OFF times are set by clock. In addition the device can be switched from Heating to Cooling mode, which means it can be used in the same way as a habistat cool control to operate fans or chillers. The maximum load is 1000W |
