Small Insect Rearing Net Cage
This style of cage is excellent for rearing mantis or stick insect or butterfly larvae on their natural food plant.
4 canes are inserted around the foodplant and the cage is hung over them( if you are using a sturdy food plant this will often support the mesh without the need for a frame or supports).
The skirt is pulled down around the pot and the drawstring is then tied off to make the cage escape proof.
