ROBERT F. INGER Ph.D., has collected amphibians, reptiles and fishes in Sabah and Sarawak since 1950, carrying out research on the ecology and evolution of communities of amphibians and reptiles in the forests of South-east Asia.
His major publications include "The Systematics and the Zoogeography of the Amphibia of Borneo" (1966, 1990) and the "Fresh-water Fishes of North Borneo" (1962,1990) with Datuk Chin Phui Kong. His book "Frogs of Sabah" with Robert Stuebing was published in 1990.
Dr Inger is now the Emeritus Curator of Amphibians and Reptiles at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago and Honorary Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians at the Sarawak Museum, Kuching. |
